(0511) 7672224 Banjarbaru, South Borneo 70714 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org ABSTRACT Mycosis is a disease caused by fungi commonly on the skin of humans and animals. These infections usually arise from fungal spores are inhaled, so that a fungal infection of the lungs and skin. Tinea Pedis, or more commonly known as athlete's foot is a fungal disease caused by dermatophyte infection of the skin on the toes, feet, and part of the lateral leg. This study aims to describe Tinea Pedis on rice farmers in the village of the district Bakumpai Banitan District of Barito Kuala July 2017. The method used in this study is a descriptive survey, in order to see a picture or description of the infection Tinea Pedis on rice farmers. Based on results of this study found positive results Tinea Pedis 8 people (61.5%) and a negative result is obtained as many as five people (38.5%). Tinea Pedis fungus examination results at Rice farmers can be concluded that out of 13 respondents were positively infected as many as eight people (61.5%) and negative ones as many as five people (38.5%). Further researchers should conduct more research on the identification of causes of fungal Tinea Pedis more specific for rice farmers should need to improve personal hygiene by way of using footwear or shoes when farming, keeping the legs to avoid damp, and clean the feet with soap after coming home from fields.
